SAP Project Lead - EAM and ISU Specialist

We are seeking an SAP Utilities Principal Consultant to lead the delivery and execution of SAP projects for customers. This role uses in-depth knowledge of SAP best practices, utilities industry standards and systems expertise to guide client implementations. You will work closely with our clients, developers, and other stakeholders to define requirements, design solutions, architecture and implement SAP based solutions for Utilities including CR&B, EAM, Mobility & Scheduling.
Who We Are Looking For
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP Project Manager Lead to oversee and drive complex SAP projects with a primary focus on SAP Work/Service Management and secondary expertise in Customer Service/Device Management. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge in Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) and Utilities Industry Solution (ISU), coupled with substantial consulting experience in the utilities sector. A background in leading teams or work streams, along with exposure to Utility Outage Management Systems and AMI/Smart Metering, will be highly advantageous. Experience with ECC to S/4 HANA migrations is also a plus.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Leadership: Lead and manage end-to-end SAP projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives. Oversee project planning, execution, and delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Expertise in SAP Modules: Utilize in-depth knowledge of SAP Work/Service Management, EAM, and ISU to design and implement solutions that enhance operational efficiency and service delivery.
  • Consulting & Utilities Experience: Leverage extensive consulting experience to advise clients on best practices and innovative solutions within the utilities sector. Drive project success through a deep understanding of industry-specific requirements and challenges.
  • Team Leadership: Guide, mentor, and support project teams, ensuring effective collaboration and high performance. Lead work streams and manage cross-functional teams to achieve project milestones.
  • Customer Service/Device Management: Apply secondary expertise in Customer Service and Device Management to address client needs and deliver comprehensive solutions that improve customer satisfaction and device management processes.
  • System Integration: Oversee integration efforts between SAP modules and other systems, including Utility Outage Management Systems and AMI/Smart Metering solutions.
  • ECC to S/4 HANA Migration: Provide guidance and support for ECC to S/4 HANA migration projects, ensuring seamless transition and minimal disruption to business operations.
What You Bring
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., PMP, SAP Certified) are a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in SAP project management with a focus on EAM, ISU, and Work/Service Management. Proven track record in consulting within the utilities industry.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated experience leading teams or work streams, with strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Technical Skills: Deep understanding of SAP modules, including EAM, ISU, Work/Service Management, and Customer Service/Device Management. Experience with Utility Outage Management Systems and AMI/Smart Metering is a plus.
  • Migration Experience: Knowledge of ECC to S/4 HANA migration processes and best practices.
  • Communication: Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to addressing challenges and implementing solutions.
